Flexmet BVBA is a company located in Belgium. Our main business is the development of shape memory alloy products, see www.flexmet.be .  Almost 10 years ago we were already using here Scooba and Roomba robots cleaners, originally imported from US distributors.  We use these robots quite often, and found out that the lifetime of the batteries is rather limited. In addition, the genuine iRobot batteries had  a relatively  low capacity and high cost.  Therefore, we discussed with Chinese (low cost) producers of such batteries the production of batteries with higher capacities, and started 6-7 years ago with the import and sales of such batteries.  Sales increased rapidly and we expanded the range to other parts for Scooba and Roomba, and for other types of robotcleaners.
